I was in the field doing security consulting around SCADA systems when these first came out. All the technicians were issued them, moving from pen and paper to laptops. They would often leave a pen on the keyboard unknowingly and then would slam the lid shut and it would crack the screen. It happened so many times. As a result the screens were made much more resilient too.
