TBPN format works because it generates daily content flowing out of the 48-hour timeline zeitgeist that can be cross-posted in video-favoring algos on every major social network.
Weekly podcast is too slow and stale in comparison.
The only live competition is CNBC and they are too slow / boomer / downstream compared to Twitter.
