We added three new features that give you more control over your experience. 

1. Notifications Filtering (Settings > Notifications) 
2. Reply Filtering  (Settings > Feeds)
3. Channel Filtering (Channel > Manage > Who can cast) 

They will let you control when you get notifications, when you see replies below posts and who can post in your channels.

The default settings now make most people visible: on casts and in notifications.

Channel owners can now easily allow anyone to cast without being a member.

We've also narrowed our approach to spam to make it more binary (spam or not spam) and transparent (visible in the about section on any user's profile).

Excellent! What's the difference between a member and non-member when everybody can cast? Anything in particular? Or is that up to channel owners?

Is channel membership part of the protocol? I know follows aren't...
