Best way to get them to stick around is engagement. This increases engagement.

Meta does this too.

i’ll take a look myself at those showing in my notifications to see if the retention is working or not. 

does the data show it working?

If that's your strategy you weren't going to be active anyway.

A lot of people unfollow people who do this. A reminder they aren't active.

So in the end, it evens out.

because seems like the strategy is to hardly ever use farcaster, then swing on by when you have something to promote.

It is also interesting to know the criteria for the user who will receive such notifications.
