what I believe:

Europe is an amazing place to vacation. Also a great place to live!

Outsized economic opportunities are limited. Minimal contribution to technological progress at this point.

to be clear: Europeans are incredibly talented. Many end up moving because opportunities in Europe are limited.

also believe and know the same... somehow individually talented, collectively unambitious. i needed something to anchor cast given the number of vacation messages.

fwiw, i think the european root cause is same as many asian where you cannot question greater/older wisdom, respect for elders/authority which leads to current sitch. they want you believe in false constraints and not be a heretic.
