Seems like kind of a weak excuse, ngl. This is a problem Andrew Ferguson owns IMO. There is no law or act actually prohibiting /just/ tech acquisitions. 

If Khan can change the status quo so radically in one term she becomes the reviled scapegoat why can’t he change it back?

Yes they can change it. But status quo is powerful, especially wrt to DOJ approach.

Okay sure but what is the name of that act or policy that bans all tech companies from making acquisitions today, under an entirely different FTC chair? 

Trying to understand why she is worth talking about today instead of the current FTC chair Andrew Ferguson. 

If there is an actual policy that he now has to uphold isn’t that the focus, not the past?
