What's still confusing?

I’m confused if this is just for mini apps or if this will be replacing the “SIWF” on web as well; rather than authkit? 

Ie, can I use quick auth for both the mini app and web app, but the web app prompts a 2fa in farcaster rather than needing to run full authkit?

Spent all day learning about auth flows yesterday so it’s a bit new to me

re auth we currently support both SIWF and wallet auth, but worth noting:
- we’re seeing a bunch of SIWF errors being reported this week and are actively looking into it
- we’re working on adding support for auth addresses, which will make the SIWF flow even smoother as it won’t require deep linking every time
- we don’t yet have support for the new quickAuth function

working on it!! right now this doc has the most up to date info on what we support & are going to continue posting updates there, in the feed, and in the developer group chat I recently added you to 🫡

Would like more docs from the Coinbase Beta Wallet side what auth methods are supported. I understand theyre still in beta, but its a lot of trouble working with any auth methods that use SIWF ( they dont allow deep links to other apps )

lol sometimes you gotta voice it to answer it yourself

but correct if you want to interact with a contract just use the connected wallet as the means of identity

I guess it just doesn't and my question is stupid 🤣🤣

Where does this fit into a model where you don't have a backend but only contracts, and want it to work for non-FC users too?
