"Farcaster is LinkedIn posting again, so cringe" 1. It's a social network, there will be chain letter type memes that let people express a bit more about themselves. It's also an easy way to hop into the fray / void with a shared prompt. 2. The people that have stuck around on Farcaster treat it as a social network, not social media. 3. "You should try to get more shitposter / funny people from other networks to join" — we have a few of those people (certainly more than last year) but the issue is those people are almost certainly have an audience / momentum on the other networks (where you discovered they were funny). Best path to increasing funny people on the network is homegrown, new funny people that only have an audience on Farcaster. 4. "What are you doing to get those people?" — I knew the answer to that question, we'd be doing it. We'll keep trying to new experiments.

Farcaster will be noice like X, just a matter of time. When my fellow creators and I share awesome content using mini-apps like Noice and post it on other social platforms, people get curious and start asking questions, which leads them to join the Farcaster. Because it's different here.
