I'm serious! Holy grail of tech is replacing mediocre teachers (who don't really like the job anyways since it's mostly childcare).

agree here
in 5 years or less: every kid would have a personal tutor that's infinitely knowledgeable and can teach in the exact pace that is suited to the kid. 

and then "school" will be community organized places for kids to get together for socialization, play and sports.
