The PayPal cabal & the Coinbase cabal are fundamentally the same Villians. Since the introduction of Base L2, Every super chain platform pivoted in Unison, false / overly optimistic marketing. Algos & bots that feel worse than web2, the house always wins leaderboards. Onboard/enrich scammers, ignore & extract from everyone else. Here’s some game for your prediction markets. Coinbase will be the only ones seeing an upside of the clarity act. Everything that made crypto have purpose will no longer exist. The Nobel cause turned Trojan horse. The Banks meant to be replaced will have more control & power than previously. Stables will be the end of privacy. Those worst case conspiracy theories around CBDC’s will be reality using the technology created to prevent that future. If the ones building the future show their hand so early on at how quick they are willing to manipulate & mistreat their earliest adopters & users at a stage where there’s not enough real users to dilute or mask the unethical actions and designs those real users see and feel. A risky move burning the ones that proved loyal without a steady influx of new cattle that don’t hold the recent memory of mistrust. How you think those now consist patterns play out at scale? Less greed? A new lease on transparency & integrity with a desire to solve web2 pain points? Whatever legacy system injustice being applied at the expense of the users that proves effective at consolidating power & capital will also be applied with a twist by the ones who aimed to solve those broken systems.
