Fully agree, unfortunately as with nearly all things in modern times. Losing chronological feeds & algorithms removed direct access to fanbases built over years while encouraging constant engagement & punishing links in world where, radio, print media fades away. This made being mysterious work against artists. Streaming / content creation added a parasocial factor access. Places like Twitter made having an artist account that only shares the music impossible, the blend between artist & human was/is forced. It’s encouraged. It’s sucks haha Thankfully I’ve always been able to separate music from human, I learned this very early in the 90’s opening up for legends, my heroes who shattered all illusions and were a 180 from their art
