As a med student, it’s hard to complain to doctors. The moment they find out you’re in med, everything gets downplayed,“probably just stress” or “medical student syndrome.” My friend once got told her pain was somatization… turned out to be appendicitis and she ended up in emergency surgery. Just because we study medicine doesn’t mean we’re immune to real symptoms. Let med students be patients too. We’re already tired.
