like… nobody says what they actually mean anymore you’re out here decoding emojis, second-guessing response times, overthinking “heyyy” vs “hey” 👀 we’re ghosting people we actually like we’re afraid to double text cause of the “standard” we’re calling it “talking stage” when we’ve already shared playlists, trauma, and kisses and so much more… it’s flirting but avoiding serious conversations it’s feeling anxious when they take too long to reply, but acting unbothered when they do 🤡 it’s “I don’t want to catch feelings” even though feelings are very obviously caught 👀 half of us want connection, the other half want control or just vibes no one wants to lose first… so we self-sabotage, keep it casual, and pretend we don’t care… until someone breaks and when they do, we call them “too much” or “it was never that deep” 🤡😮💨
