Senator Tim Scott, Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, praised the vote to pass the GENIUS Act (Stablecoin) as an important step forward and has been delayed for too long in affirming the leadership role of the United States in the digital asset sector. He expressed his appreciation for the bipartisan cooperation, as many Democratic MPs returned to the negotiating table and supported this bill. The GENIUS Act will help the United States move closer to building a legal framework that both promotes innovation and protects consumers and strengthens national security.

Lawrence Lepard (Founder – Equity Management Associates) warns that we are living in a serious public debt crisis, and this can lead to high inflation and a reset of the monetary system. When that happens, there will be clear winners and losers, and "you won't have a chance to do it again." He for example: the government can suddenly return to the gold standard, bringing the price of gold to 20,000 USD/ounce, then, only those who already own gold or gold mining stocks will benefit. Similar to bitcoin: if the US claims to hoard bitcoin as a strategic asset, the price could triple, and those who do not hold it will miss out completely. Therefore, he recommends that investors should allocate assets to things that the government cannot print, such as gold, silver, and bitcoin, instead of just holding dollars, because according to him, the government will continue to print out a lot of dollars in the future.

Moody's Ratings downgraded the U.S. national credit rating by one place, from Aaa (the highest possible level) to Aa1 (2nd highest level), on the grounds of the growing burden on financing federal budget deficits and rising debt maturity costs in the context of high interest rates. Although Aa1 is still in the best credit rating group, it is the second highest rating on the Moody's scale. However, being downgraded may cause US government bond interest rates to increase. Specifically, the 10-year US government bond yield increased by 3 basis points, to 4.48% in the after-hours trading session. And this is definitely not what President Trump wants.

President Trump believes that the market will rise even higher. He reiterated that he advised people to buy it 5 weeks ago, although it was criticized at that time, but now the critics are silent. He emphasized that the current situation is unprecedented, with a boom in investment, job growth, and the emergence of large companies. According to him, this is a historic economic moment.

The United States declared victory in this negotiation. China also declared its victory in this negotiation. ... But the real winners are investors and businesses of both sides. In the financial market, the bears 🐻 always sound very logical, but in the long run, the bulls πŸ‚ are the ones who make money.

Cathie Wood (Ark Invest) still believes that the price of Bitcoin by 2030 can reach 700,000–750,000 USD in the basic scenario and 1.5 million USD in the optimistic scenario. She believes that Bitcoin still has a lot of room for growth when financial institutions have just started to participate, about 1 million BTC has not been mined, and great potential from emerging markets. In addition, Bitcoin is gradually replacing gold as a value storage asset.

Since 2007, the cash flow into US assets πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ has been extremely large, with a total of 3.5 trillion USD flowing into stock funds, corporate bonds and US government bonds. The stock fund accounts for 34%, equivalent to 1.2 trillion USD. After the 2020 pandemic, cash flow skyrocketed with 2.5 trillion USD pouring in just a few years. Even in the bear market in 2022, cash flows continued to flow in, despite recent sell-offs, US funds still recorded strong cash flows. πŸ’° And when money is printed in the name of "helping people" or "saving the economy", history shows that most of the money flows into the hands of large corporations and the rich class, who then continue to reinvest in assets to fight inflation, increasing stock and property prices, thereby deepening the gap between rich and poor.

Minister of Finance πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Scott Bessent: We believe that the United States should be the top destination for digital assets. To achieve that, as members of this committee and the Senate are trying to implement, it is necessary to build an effective market structure in which best practices will be applied and become the global standard. In fact, the problem lies in the fact that the United States needs to actively establish top practices, instead of letting other countries lead and create gaps that we must try to fill later. We want the United States to be a speed-setting country, not a follower.
