BMW is preparing a new 2028 5-Series, which will receive significant changes in both design and technology. Prototypes of the new generation, including the G60 sedan and G61 wagon, have already been spotted testing. The main changes concern the front end, inspired by the Vision Neue Klasse concept. The new style includes a more aggressive radiator grille and sharp headlights, which will give the car a more modern look.

In addition, the updated 5-Series will receive improved technological filling: the new iDrive X interface and the Panoramic Vision system, which will make the interior even more “smart”.

As for power plants, BMW is focusing on electrification. The i5 model will be equipped with new batteries with cylindrical cells, which will increase their efficiency and durability. The i5 version with a dual electric motor and a power of 593 hp is expected. accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
