Avtostat provided some interesting data on the Russian motorcycle market. Although the Chinese and domestic brands (whose motorcycles are assembled from Chinese components) rule the roost, Russians have not given up on two-wheeled vehicles from famous brands: BMW dominates the 600 cc category.

It is followed by Honda, then Voge, QJMotor and Harley Davidson. A total of 968 motorcycles were sold in the over 600 cc category in Russia in the first quarter. For comparison, more than 4,200 motorcycles of smaller capacity were sold — this category has a market share of more than 80%.

Overall, the Russian motor market grew by 48% in the first quarter of this year compared to the first quarter of 2024 - this is a solid increase, especially in comparison with the auto market, which went into the red by about the same 40%.
