The iconic Batmobile from Bavaria has doubled in price and now costs as much as a Bugatti
The limited edition 2023 BMW 3.0 CSL, released in honor of the 50th anniversary of BMW M GmbH, is rapidly rising in price. One of 50 copies is put up for sale in Germany for $1,346,555 (110.5 million rubles) - almost twice the starting price of $780,000 (64 million rubles, according to the current exchange rate).
The car is equipped with a 3.0-liter inline Biturbo engine with a capacity of 552 hp - the most powerful six-cylinder engine in the history of the brand. The transmission is only a six-speed manual.
The body is handcrafted from carbon fiber and fiberglass at the Dingolfing plant, where Rolls-Royce bodies are also produced. The design is inspired by the original 1973 model, including retro details and a three-color livery.
Demand for the 3.0 CSL exceeds supply, making it a collector's item. Given its exclusivity and hand-assembly, the model could be among the best cars among modern collector coupes. 0 reply
