Might sound like a far reach but the plan is to have African creators on farcaster (devs, writers etc) getting hired for contract jobs.
eg A project needs a particular skill set and their first thought is to come to us, and there’s already a team down to do it, this helps the creators get paid and also /fc-africa gets shares from this, these funds are then used to help different African creators like @baeshy.eth on his “help the needy” during events like Christmas, Ramadan, sallah etc
Not stopping there, hosting/sponsoring little farcaster friday meetups around Africa, the amount of Nigerians on here are so much, so starting from home for sure, i need to spread to other African countries too (idk how yet😅)
All in all, i need /fc-africa being a sub farcaster.
Tried running something little like /outlast which is currently ongoing, and put in some money to encourage people, not much though, but it’s a start.
Boils down to funding on some parts, tried the /octant rounds but didn’t work out.
So, how does a rookie builder make this come true with little to no funding, experience with irl stuff but not based off building something this big.
Still a dream.. any advice? 0 reply
