For BCH and LTC, changes in circulation can significantly impact their prices. When the project team implements a lock - up plan, the circulating supply in the market decreases. With reduced supply and assuming demand remains stable or increases, the price is likely to rise. For instance, if miners lock up a portion of their mined BCH or LTC, there will be less of these coins available for trading. However, the execution of lock - up plans has uncertainties. If miners or holders do not adhere to the lock - up agreement, the expected reduction in supply may not occur. Also, the market may not react as expected. If investors are skeptical about the long - term prospects of the project despite the lock - up, the price may not increase as hoped. This can be a risk for investors who base their investment decisions on the anticipated price increase due to circulation changes.
