Almost a month ago, I was approved for two based builders grants at the same time.
You build and you will be rewarded - that's true.
Yes, it is difficult and time-consuming, and I hope that it will be easier in the future.
Now I am a triple grants recipient. It's not about winning, it's not a game, it's about value and contribution to the ecosystem.
The reward will be used for /base-bulgarian, as well as my projects on base + users of my apps, and everything will remain within the ecosystem 🫡

Lately, launchpads have often been positioning themselves as VCs.
You launch a token for something, your project gets a little support, you make a bit of money from fees, get attention from “hardcore fans of your product” — but this is a short-term model.
I used to believe in this myself, because it looks like a model independent of everyone.
However, lately I’ve been leaning more towards a few options:
1. You act on your own and find the path to profitability for your project, without relying on tokens, and only then consider the possibility of tokenization.
2. You reach out to people with significant experience, whether VCs or someone else.
Launchpads are not interested in your success — they are interested in the short-term fees you bring them. The next day they’ll be shilling something else. And in a week, they'll forget about you.
This damages the entire ecosystem and fosters even more short-term behavior and token printing.

Is repeating the same thing considered madness?
I catch myself thinking that a lot of what I build gets some success only because I keep doing the same things while improving them without giving up.
I promote my projects every day — their features and their essence.
I promote my agents and how people can use them.(for freee!!)
I work on the builders community and invite people to unite and join. (btw, why aren’t you there yet?)
I also do various small things, both onchain and offchain, that are mostly monotonous, but they clearly have an impact on me.
And gradually it turns into a habit for me and creates more understanding on your side — it’s like a snowball or a long onboarding process.

I did more than I planned. Quack.
About half a year of development, 108 days since the release, and here I am.
In the beginning, the idea was just an idea, and it belongs to @cryptowenmoon.eth
A bit of chatting with @sohey marked my first steps, tips and docs from @linda (ooo until 5 Jan).
Huge support from @hunttown.eth, help from @tamastorok.eth with the canvas (the master of drawings) and @attilagaliba.eth (we miss you, bro) and @kc-8 (blockchain things), advices @arrotu.
The opportunities that @inflynce (thanks Ali!) offers for attracting attention. First 100 users.
Then came the grind: 8-15 hours daily, sleepless nights, improving everything possible, creating a high-quality product--drawings, an image generator, JPGs, holiday events, game integrations like Horse Facts Analyzer, Anime Characters Analyzer, and our masterpiece with @lifeisatape.eth Pinball: All Stars. ( try it if you haven't tried it )
This is a huge journey-I learned so much new stuff and managed to actually implement so many things.
I remember every millimeter of my path, and it's very based.
I'm still just a little duck, simply building something in my pond, and like everyone else.
If a simple duckling was able to build something through tears, suffering, but also joy, more joy, I think everyone can realize their dream and build something!
These are the results of the year for my app, but I also did a lot of cool stuff myself, but that will be another story.
Keep building. Stay based. Learn from builders. Never give up. Don't be afraid to start. Don't be afraid not to finish.
After a dark night, #0000FF day will surely come!

Right now, I’m working on several things and the next version of Celebration Hub, which is coming soon.
Full Farcaster protocol support - send gifts(all 5 types) to any user, even if they haven’t added their birthday. It makes things much more fun. (Implemented)
Your birthday/special date = a free NFT permanently stored onchain, with the ability to update it later if you decide you were born on another day of the year, etc. (About 90% implemented)
Pinball rewards - paid games with leaderboards and prize pools. (Implemented)
I’m currently exploring a few financial ideas for the app.
The cost of sending gifts will increase from 0.01$ to 0.05-0.1$, and I’ll create a Birthday Pool with eth/usdc - a shared pool for 5–10 users who have their birthdays this week.
The gifts you send will generate about 80–90% of that pool, and anyone will be able to add more funds to it as well.
I will most likely use @quotient to track the quality of bday users for this gifts, but the threshold will be low.
When the Farcaster developer rewards will be returned, I'll be able to use them for the pool + app maintenance.
I'm also exploring options for launching a token, airdrop mechanics, and using commissions for the Birthday pool. I take this process very seriously and I am not in a hurry with it.
Next, I plan to turn this loved project into a more universal thing with a full web app experience: connect your wallet to the website — get a gift; send a gift - simple and fun. And a bot for a gift sending. I think it’s a good idea.
Do you have any feedback?
Please share your ideas. I've been reading everything since day one.
