IMO this is bc the church knows how to influence people who are down and out. GenZ has a lost youth from the previous 5 years. Church offers third place. But be careful of the church, bc like duh It’s like the menosphere’s or Barron trump’s influence. I used to think I was a Zillennial, but then got let down but the majority of the youth in their insular views. My brother is 10 years younger than me so I have a pretty unique exposure to youth. My brother has a lot of external locus of control lash outs. He’s a fantastic guy, truly I love him so much, and we are quite similar. Similarly with my younger colleagues. They truly have a “I can’t change this myself” attitude that irks me. But I believe in the malleability of people and brains.
