do you think what he says is incorrect? or is it something else?

yeah, it's got its downsides. i approach things with a healthy (maybe sometimes unhealthily large) dose of scepticism — i've been on both ends and i know there's lots of BS that comes with startup building.

but i also know you gotta keep some of it up for your own sanity. otherwise it's an infinitely hard and often a depressing endeavour.

It’s him trying to jump on any bandwagon that can work (which is not wrong) but take some time to iron out current issues first.  

Unless you are of the mind — respectively and not always erroneously — that you move fast and break things.

If so, I am concerned if moving fast and breaking things should also add a clause of fixing the things that are breaking while you move fast and break things. Maybe not move fast break things and move fast and break more things so you end up with breaking everything. 

It’s a thin line I would say because I  not a startup founder so I can’t say that my opinion is right. But I’ve been on the receiving end of startup founder mentality, which can end up with more pain.
