Out of curiosity, what is the biggest tip you would give someone struggling with self belief and negativity?

First, let me acknowledge the fact that I don’t know everything or everyone’s experience. I remind them that they are more than their negative thoughts. That “negative self-talk” is a neurotypical and neurodivergent shared experience. But facts don’t always help friends. So sometimes, you have to be the new song playing in their head. I like to remind them that I don’t let people talk about my friends that way, in a somewhat playful but aggressive tone. Hell sometimes I have to remind myself: “I don’t let people talk to my friends that way, so why would I let my brain talk to me that way?”
