Heading home today afer a week in LA. One thing I hate about moving from NYC is no direct flights. A cross country flight is long enough without a two hour layover in Atlanta.
Went to the Rose Bowl flea market yesterday.
Went to a very normal art show at Superchief last night…
My incredibly cool girlfriend and I got engaged last night. She didn't want to post about it on social media, but since we don't really have any actual IRL friends on Farcaster, I am gonna at least tell you guys about it.
I turn 46 today. Since my 45th birthday I have become a homeowner, got engaged and I am in the best shape I've been in since my early 30s. Pretty good year all things considered.
I took a photo of Bill Murray and a tiny puppy. Hey, if I'm gonna climb two leaderboard spots in 25 minutes I might as well go out swinging with my most popular photo shoot of all time.
Storytime today is about the time I smoked crack just to prove a point. When I was 12 my friends started drinking. Alcoholism runs in my family a bit and even as a kid I really didn't want to go down that road. I don't really remember too much peer pressure but when I was 14 or 15 I found straight edge punk and suddenly not drinking or doing drugs was part of my identity.
