Ethereum core developers target to release the Pectra upgrade by the first quarter of 2025. The upgrade includes the Ethereum Virtual Machine Object Format (EOF), which features 11 improvement proposals aimed at enhancing the EVM code. Pectra will integrate EIP-725.
