Founders how do you balance the needs/wants of early users who helped gain your protocol/service traction. While also not catering completely to new users and disregarding those who got you to this point? This to me is the biggest quarrel to come with growth in our space. π€

Time to set a new goal fam. They believed in you for a reason!! Adjusting the vision for the PRODUCT growth is most important!! Their needs/ wants come with it π

So do you just ignore what the new users want as well and only cater to a small subset?

Iβm not sure what the product is but my point isβ¦ move the goal post further forward. If the current community is or was happy with what you have now, they will be even happier to watch it grow. Not sure how growing something equals to catering to a small subset. Growth means bigger!!

I understand what you mean. The OG supporters may not want the growth you have in mind. They envision it a different way and at the same time people like to gatekeep things and also like to let others know that they knew about it before it was cool.
