Google Pixel. you can get the Samsung too but very soon, you'll have to pay for AI features. Google ships better AI stuff and you get it for free so why bother with Samsung? Pixel also has one of the best cameras out there. almost on par with Samsung and iPhone. you won't be missing out on much on that front. let's see...what did i miss? i think that's about it.

nothing special. a good camera, and ability to run my own software easily

mm. Samsung's not a bad option, tbh. i'm still biased because users will have to pay for AI features in the future. you could try some of the latest vivo phones. Andres did a video talking about the Vivo X200. mad camera quality and battery life. just as good as the latest iPhone, if not better.
