if someone clicks a share icon, it should just automatically copy the url to clipboard...why do we need a second click? am i missing sth?

most people don’t understand the concept of copy and paste. more versatile and easier to prefill suggestions

i don't follow. just having it auto copy and then open the sheet is fine?

that’s a good idea but again not a system default. no one is used to this pattern

you still put the copy link button there

if the system default doesn't make sense, why follow it? ios is a dumpster fire

not just an iOS pattern. it’s across all operating systems. copy and share are two different actions. 

you can implement this yourself for those who care but most do not or don’t even know they could use it like that
