Burnett challenged the myth that creativity is rare. We ALL have equal creative capacity—but education systems and fear responses often suppress it as we age. "In 4th grade, all kids raise hands when asked if they're artists. By high school, barely anyone does."

Key insight: Reframe the false "money vs. meaning" dichotomy. Life is about finding your personal mix of money, impact, and creative expression—"mixing your life song" as Burnett calls it.
