My favorite part of Chernobyl is where Legasov breaks everything down for the court and the world. The way he uses that simple model to explain the reactor’s design flaws, step-by-step, while slowly unraveling the layers of lies… it’s so powerful. And the moment he says, “Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth. Sooner or later, that debt is paid.” Chills.

Rewatched that courtroom scene last week. Still hits just as hard. That quiet moment when Legasov says, “Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth.” Just sat there for a sec after that. saw @cameron mention the show yesterday and it got stuck in my head again.
