Anyone good at copy? I have this copy issue on my app that makes it confusing.

I have a contacts/friends screen in my app. The searchbar let's you search for contacts you already have in the app (no contacts on this screen)

The invite button just shares the app.
And the add new brings up another screen where you can find all users that have the app and add them.

But it seems to confusing and not sure how to solve it.

The "invite" button I would keep as is as it is kinda psychological. Why? I believe that people what tap 'invite' faster then 'share' in this context. 

Yes they do the same thing but the purpose is different

I just updated the screen to be this.
What do you think? Would this be more clear?

You already answered the issue with “Invite” button. Rename it to “Share the App”.

“Add new” rename to “Add from App”.

Also the better way would be to remove the “Add new” button and have a nice empty state saying “Find who’s here and invite people who aren’t there yet.” and when you search and someone isn’t in the system yet, there would be a button “Add” / “Invite”.

If you want to keep two buttons, you could try exploring:
1. Remove copy “Invite” and “Add new” and just keep icons. 
2. Remove top “Invite” button and display two buttons in the bottom area: “Share App” and “Who’s here?” with icons
