LUC CLANKED this is huge on so many levels he's building an efficient capital vessel for backing FC builders, a unique use case where crypto rails makes this possible (few) being an incredibly respected individual in the space and mentor to the clanker team, I'm honored he decided to clank dat making waves, time to start paddling and catch the next meta

so what happened is there was a private sale to raise initial capital for future investments there's always going to be some sort of early entry in a TGE. it's generally early bidders, but with a presale it's the ones who get an entry into the round we saw this with clanker presales in v3, they were public and anyone could join, which resulted in lots of the participants exiting shortly after launch since they got in at the best price I think Luc innovated here by running a private presale, basically allowlisting early entrants honestly a smart move to stiffen up the bottom of the chart, whereas if it were public maybe those entrants could have wrecked the chart we'll see how it plays out but I like the creativity!

Thanks @sekoweed.eth oh yes everythin is on blockchain and can be verified. just the irony of creating a token, naming it Faircaster when the truth is the Purple Barney and friends were the first to eat. the market is the exit liquidity. Clanker should have just like a pre-sale on the platform itself, just like Genesis launchpad on virtuals, Allowing other people to see (A) Project, (B) Team and (C) the public wallets that will participate.

even the experiment of @thebestpizza.eth for the Firk is wayy more organized and catering ALL and I mean EVERYONE who wanted to participate, I thibk the minting was like 3freaking days. The Result?? Chart is way more sustained at 500k mc atm and all the community members is supporting (in other words not rekt)

$WTF? had 14.615 eth contributed from 330 wallets during firkin presale and gave a fair entry to all at 77k mcap our mcap has remained above that since launch generally trading between 400-900k mcap insiders sending to fresh wallets, dispersing to 5 further wallets to extract from the ecosystem is not what what im building transparency is important when building for the community everyone entitled to launch how they like I guess - good luck to them

several ways to go about it - some will win more than others a vaulted lock up is in my opinion a good example of how to carry out a private pre-sale for supporters delayed token access for longer term support vs instant profit from dev buy great to see people getting more creative with clanking, its important to pay attention to this and iterate as we see fit

totally, that's why we have the minimum lockup period on vaulted token supply and will have a minimum on airdrops too in v4 the dev buy is transferred immediately so definitely some lessons to be learned in this experiment! it'll take lots of these to come up with the best formula but we'll get there!
