Learned how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) today. 

Misconceptions cleared:
👉🏽 it DOES NOT restart a flatlined heart like in the movies (in fact it will say no shock advised). 
👉🏽 it detects an abnormal or chaotic heart rhythm and gives shock to STOP it. Either the heart’s natural rhythm then resumes or the CPR keeps the blood flowing and gives the heart another chance to recover.
