Société Générale-Forge just launched a dollar-pegged stablecoin called USD CoinVertible (USDCV). It’ll run on Ethereum and Solana. BNY will handle custody of the backing assets. This follows their euro-backed stablecoin (EURCV) from April 2023. Both target institutional clients.
