Base has officially reached Stage 1 decentralization 🟦
This means user funds are secured by Ethereum L1, not by any single operator. Funds can’t be stolen or frozen arbitrarily.
However, Stage 1 doesn’t mean everything is decentralized yet.
The sequencer is still centralized, so transaction ordering and censorship resistance are still in progress.
Strong fund safety today, deeper decentralization coming next.
