Time for some more Octomore!
All of these are $200+ a bottle and honestly, it's not insane, yes you can find better value at lower prices but these actually hold their own independent of the fancy brand (save for the last).
14.1 Taiwanese whiskey on nose, powerful electric explosion of peat on palate, like poprocks. Interestingly 750ml bottle while the others are 700ml
16.1 Smoked paprika on nose; honeyed smoke on palate. Very nice.
16.2. Sherry bomb on nose
Candied nuts and rasins on palate with peat
Reminds me of Redbreast PX+ smoke. I feel you could replicate with a 3:1 ratio of RB PX to Laphroaig Quarter Cask.
16.3 This is supposed to be the 'most premium' one but it kinda sucked, too mellow compared to the 16.{1,2}. I think this is the result of too much barrel aging mellowing it out.
