No, it was just getting a big too redic to direct users where to go compared to Bluesky or Threads. Bluesky is the same way: decentralized ATProto behind it, but centralized BSky client.

fair. i probably would’ve done the same. though from a branding POV it’d be like if there was a client also called ATProtocol 😅
