that's a complicated question. I think incentive design is crypto's superpower and one of the only ways protocols will have the network effects to replace platforms. I think apps not thinking about how to align users with ownership to help them grow will probably be replaced by those that do without $eth, the ethereum community is probably still niche hobbyists with few users
