i think you should try everything! whether it’s marketing, development, research, content, or something else. then decide if it fits you. some of the great devrels i know in the crypto space were BDs or content writers who pivoted to a completely new role. nothing is fixed or predetermined. act as you go. go with the flow. 🌊

i’ve this intense feeling that next 6 months will be the best ones in terms of: • huge contributions to community. • lots of core defi/protocol research. • going heavy on content. yt arc. • big pay. • pushing my limits. heavy work. • some cool trips. • becoming a KOL. • multiple web3 pods. • meeting new people/cool friends. • attend hackathons, events, conferences, meet ups. I JUST KNOW IT WILL BE, PRETTY FUCKING BIG !

cross-border payments should be the first thing we heavily market to non crypto natives. fyi: • global fee: average cost to send $200 is around $12.80 per transaction. • bank transfer: fees can be even higher. • hidden charges: additional costs like intermediary bank fees and exchange rates can add up to 10% or more of the transaction amount. now, if you do this transfer on-chain on a L2 like @arbitrum , the transaction fee is $0.01 to $0.10, regardless of the amount sent.

value propositions by web3 projects: • we are the world’s fastest chain • we are built for devs • we are the cheapest • we are easy to build on • we are the most secure chain • we are super scalable • we are a culture, not just a chain claims too broad. do specific. do better.

“classic crypto problem (newbie)” > receives USDC on polygon network, gets excited : ) > tries to figure out how to transfer it to local bank account. 💪 > realizes usdc needs to go through a CEX (e.g. binance). > discovers that MATIC ( gas token ) is required to pay for tx fees.💀 > goes to MATIC faucet—no luck : ( > doesn't have MATIC in wallet. buying MATIC requires fiat/ crypto, which they’re don’t have access to yet. > again, can’t buy MATIC due to KYC delays/min purchase limits on CEXs, & somewhere faces rejection. 🥲 > finally finds a cost-free bridge, without need to pay upfront fees. that saves the day. 😌 eventually sorted, but with this experience, the user says, “crypto is complicated 😭 !” see the gap here ? is that how we onboard the next billion users? 😤

why ethereum is called world computer? in bitcoin, state transitions occur with tx’s of bitcoin which also cause the global state transitions. meaning, it’s strictly restricted to tracking of currency ownership. while, ethereum tracks the state transitions of any type of data, not just tx’s. so like a computer that stores both code & data in memory. it operates similarly, where smart contracts are stored & executed by EVM + allows devs to program state machine, managing apps, & so on. decentralized network of thousands of nodes worldwide without relying on a single entity for control is what makes it a : - 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇
