cross-border payments should be the
first thing we heavily market to non crypto natives. fyi:

• global fee: average cost to send
  $200 is around $12.80 per
  transaction.

• bank transfer: fees can be even
   higher.

• hidden charges: additional costs 
   like intermediary bank fees and 
   exchange rates can add up to 10% 
   or more of the transaction amount.

now, if you do this transfer on-chain
on a L2 like @arbitrum , the transaction fee is $0.01 to $0.10, regardless of the amount sent.
