How did you naturally build a dedicated audience? I keep hearing about 1,000 true fans Conversion rates are usually abysmal, but having an influencer friend with a massive (100k+) interest-aligned audience seems to be the move The reply guy move is a desperate trope.. build it & they will come is a fallacy Advice?

Leaning towards just building consistent, sincere interest. Build it and they will come is true if your time horizon is long. But long time horizons is sometimes not feasible.

Yes.. though I’ve written / posted weekly for pretty much 5 years straight (if not more) and haven’t crossed 1,000 on any platform I’m proud that many readers / friends are real ones & industry influencers I’m bad at self-promotion bc I’ve always been told to keep my head down Self-deprecating, not aggran
