wrote a small piece -
I was always that girl
Quiet in the corners,
Too shy to speak,
Too small to be seen.
For years I blamed myself:
“You’re not enough.
You don’t belong.
No one wants to stay.”
But then…
I stopped trying to fit into spaces
that were never carved for me.
I broke the shell.
I wandered far
And in the wandering,
I found me.
Now I stand on my own,
travelling, building,
silently winning,
becoming everything I once dreamed of.
And suddenly
They all ask:
“How are you doing this?
what changed?
What’s your story?”
But how do I say?
This isn’t about who I’ve become.
This is about where I always belonged
so here’s my story
I’ve learned to love my scars,
my folds,
my flaws.
I no longer chase perfect.
I don’t care about likes,
or comments,
or applause.
All I care about
is waking up in peace,
choosing myself first,
and pouring unconditional love into my own soul.
#this is my season of victories
