Yeah this is 100% true you hit the nail on the head, Mozart and Beethoven had patrons, and on chain makes a lot of sense. My question would be how valuable is that blockchain technology vs simply having email addresses and a monthly subscription like patreon or bandcamp?

I think we don't know yet - but I think the value will be huge. Even now there are opportunities in IRL with wearables and access. But you can't "give" back to fans with web2 infra - the direct wallet connection opens a million doors - as artists becomes more collaborative - think @yancey's A Corp - artist to artist connection - artist to fan connection- developing groups within the fan base that contribute to projects which they then benefit from. If web2 empowered the artist - it is still a one way flow - certainly economically - Web3 opens a whole new flow and we're not even scratching the surface ;-p
