looking great! also a refresh shortcut. separate: i've also found myself wanting to "archive" replies that i've laid eyes on but don't want to act on.

will add polling new info as well. regarding the archive feature, does the all messages / unread feature work if the default was unread? you can also mark as unread

it works, but i'm an "inbox zero" kind of person, so read/unread status indicates a different state than in the inbox or not. here's the spec for me: • A message can be unread, and stays in the inbox (not sure if I'm going to act on it). • A message can be read, but stays in the inbox (going to act later) • A message can be read, but archived (I read it and decided not to act) • A message can be unread, but archived (and removed from the inbox – indicates that the preview was enough for me to not act on)

very interesting, I agree. inbox zero person here as well but I’m fine with just the counter going to zero :) let me think about this
