i'll take the other side of this the possibilities: 1) BEL plays against a USA team without their top striker because a play was both incorrectly reviewed and incorrectly ruled 2) BEL plays against the USA team after briefly thinking USA would be without their top striker not having your top striker >>> briefly thinking your opponent won't have their top striker it's totally fine to call FIFA corrupt, question why this case got this treatment (though I have yet to see another show another red card from the tournament that they think was also incorrectly given), etc but pretending like this is some huge disadvantage arbitrarily put onto BEL instead of just both teams facing each other at full strength misses
