lots of people who i used to respect and consider as very smart seem to have completely traded their brain and capacity of reasoning for ChatGPT

 I think they just got lazier.

Chatgpt is meant to help make research easier

I think they still have,
They have just become too comfortable with not thinking.

i honestly dont trust them to have original ideas and relevant thought processes anymore
