The Superchain concept

Imagine you want to deploy your own network. First, you need to come up with your own security system or take an existing one, then find a set of validators, and a lot more problems. Well, that's a problem, isn't it?

But what if a stack appears that serves as a common source of truth for all L2s in a multi-chain system. It undertakes to ensure compliance with standard security models in all chains and removes the requirement that a new set of validators is required to deploy the chain. These are the problems that Superchain solves.

Superchain is a family of L2 OP Chains, they share common security, a common communication layer and a common technology stack. However, unlike other projects, these networks are standardized and designed to be used as interchangeable resources.
