The current UI/UX feels too rigid. I was talking to a friend who recently joined Farcaster, and he mentioned that he doesn’t enjoy using the app it just doesn’t feel intuitive or enjoyable to interact with. In my opinion, normies will naturally gravitate toward social media platforms that are more fluid and have less friction. The Farcaster team really needs to improve the overall user experience. Secondly, the algo isn’t great—especially when compared to X (Twitter). It would help if bigger accounts were encouraged to interact more with smaller ones. That kind of engagement could make the platform feel more inclusive. Finally, the onboarding process needs to be much simpler. It should feel like any typical social media sign-up no invite codes, no subscriptions, and no mandatory X (Twitter) account linking. Just sign up with email and start having fun

I think it would be much easier and better if people just registered Farcaster without connecting X account or without subscribing Some of my frens aren’t even on CT They should be less friction in the onboarding process.

As someone building a product these are some questions you need to ask yourself ➛How smooth and easy is it to spread your idea? ➛ How often will people sneeze it to their friends? ➛ How tightly knit is the group you’re targeting, do they talk much? ➛ How reputable are the people most likely to promote your idea? ➛ How persistent is the idea, is it based on mainly hype of the market at that time? Or is the idea a long term one?(probably you invest more in spreading it over time) I also call this the 5 Hows
