3. Cargo, resources, and the real cost of sailing Cargo is Ingredient Tokens from the Chef Universe economy. You buy at market price in the Bazaar. You also need resources (especially cfWHEAT early on) to keep the voyage moving. Do not empty your resource stack just to load maximum cargo on day one. Leave a buffer. Running out mid-loop is more expensive than a slightly smaller hold. Watch active boosts. Market recovery multipliers (e.g. on MILK or EGG) change which cargo is worth moving that week. Check the in-game notice before locking a plan.
