afaik this duo-gem of West Long Branch, NJ was the first and only of its kind. maybe time to run it back. one entrance to the restaurant, two service counters, one side had the bagel oven, the other had grills and fryers, shared walk-in fridge and freezer. staff worked both sides for efficiency. it was a sweet gig. I opened by myself, which meant going in at 5am on little to no sleep, blasting Fugazi over the store sound system while I did the first bagel bake and prepped all the chicken-side stuff.

oh dang ... thats pretty rad tbh, prototype Tacobell / KFC I think its quite possible we were both blasting Fugazi at the same time while working foodservice 1500 miles away from each other
